The Travellers who set up camp in a children’s playground in Noak Hill have left, after Havering Council served them a notice to leave.
The fleet of around 12 caravans pitched up in the so-called Rocket Playground, off North Hill Drive, yesterday morning.
A council spokesman confirmed the group had left the borough today.
Deputy leader of the council, Cllr Steven Kelly, said: “We will not tolerate any illegal entrance to our parks.”
